I am currently working on an essay for my English 102 class about the effects of the media on society. I was reading over some statistics regarding the effects of violence on children whilst listening to 'Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die' by Four Year Strong, when it occured to me...I would like to read more poetry.
I've never been a HUGE poetry fan, but I do enjoy a fair share. And I would like to read more. I just think it would be good for me. Beneficial.
Imagine: relaxing in the brisk autumn air, sporting my favorite pea coat and scarf, headphones and ipod in place, colorful leaves all around, sitting on a wonderful bench, reading from a book of poetry passing the time between classes.
I think this sounds wonderful. I'd really like to purchase 'Monsters Under Your Head' by Chad Sugg. I've read some of the poems. They are great. I consider it a good investment. And a great addition to my coffee table.
I'd also like to buy a ton of new music. I love fall and all its releases! I just need some more money :)
