It's a Jack Johnson Kind of Day

I've never much been into Jack Johnson, but today was a Jack Johnson day. I've always thought his music was alright, but it's just never been enough to fill my music gap. You know, sometimes you just are in a certain mood and you need a specific song or artist or genre and it fixes everything or adds so much to your mood. Jack Johnson has never been that artist. Until today.

Today, I chose to wake up late and not go to my economics class. I then chose that after going to the Wellness Center to work I would not go to my psychology class and instead finish my music theory composition before heading off the the BlueBird restaurant with friends for my roommates birthday. Anyway, I was getting ready and decided I needed music. Ashlee had started playing here Batman video game and no longer had music playing, so I just needed SOMETHING! But what? I immediately thought of Forever The Sickest Kids, but I'm just not in a powerpop/punk mood. So what to play? Alternative and punk just wasn't going to cut it today. And neither was John Mayer. Then, all of a sudden, Jack Johnson popped into my head, and I thought yes, that might actually work. Kids, I have NEVER thought these words before. Yes Jack Johnson is great, but like I said earlier, he's never been able to fill the gap. So I went over to my computer, looked at my 2 Jack Johnson cd's, and didn't have the worlds slightest idea what to play. WHAT was going to be the song to add so much to my day. Then I saw it. 'Sitting, Waiting, Wishing' yelling at me to double click on the line. I did. I probably only did it because I learned how to play the song in my guitar class yesterday, but kids, it was the best choice I could make. It had the PERFECT feel for today. It was a perfect morning.

I have been listening to Jack Johnson all day. It has been perfect. His music has added so much to my spectacular day. Thank you Jack.

First off Jack Johnson is amazing. period end of story no ifs ands or buts. But i can understand why it would not really hit the spot sometimes cause a lot of other stuff really doesn't hit the spot for me, but Jack Johnson is so chill easy going and happy i love it. Good thing you listened to him.
